Crete-Trete 309-VOC A high solids, water based cure and seal for concrete. Non Penetrating

Product Description:

Crete-Trete 309-VOC Cure & Seal is an ASTM 309 Type I class B or Type I-D class B curing compound for use on fresh concrete. It is also a sealer for use on cured concrete floors, panels, walls, columns, precast or prestressed. Use it to protect architectural concrete such as exposed aggregate, hard landscape products, ornamental objects, etc.

Application :

1. Spray, roll or brush Crete-Trete 309-VOC at a rate of 10 to 20 m²/Litre. Prepare hardened concrete by removing dirt, oil and other soils from the surface. Scrub with Cresset's Floor Stripper 90. MOISTEN DRY CONCRETE WITH WATER (no standing puddles, however).
2. Moisten concrete with water before applying. Dry concrete absorbs water from the "wet" Cure & Seal hindering proper film formation. Using Crete-Trete 309-VOC on dry concrete may result in a film with a white, flaky or dusty appearance as well as poor adhesion to the concrete's surface.
3. Hot, windy conditions may cause "checking" of the acrylic film. Windy, drying conditions may prematurely harden the very top surface, trapping other ingredients underneath. Proper hardening allows for slow removal of all materials throughout the film's thickness.
4. Avoid extra thick applications. Apply several thin coats rather than one thick coat. On thick coats the surface may harden first, trapping other materials in the film. This results in a white appearance. Frequently, the white disappears in a few weeks.

Consumption:

Depending on the absorbency of the surface between 7- 10 m²/L.

Product Description:

COLORTEC Rapid "CR" is a solvent-free and water-repellent, immediate-protective coating, which has been especially developed for the application onto concrete immediately after it has been removed (demoulded/stripped) from the mould. CR is an advanced new development, as up to now the application of protective coatings on concrete immediately after demoulding was only possible with products which create a shiny surface. CR is the first product which does not create a shiny-effect when used for this application and does not alter the naturalness in the colour-effects of the concrete surface. CR is therefore very quick, safe and easy to use and is especially suitable for architectural concrete and similar high-quality concrete. CR is breathable and is not a sealant. CR can, of course, also be applied on hardened concrete.

Fields of Application:

Application immediately after removal (demoulding/stripping) from the mould as a water-repellent protection for smooth resp. structured concrete. CR should be applied onto panels made of ready-mixed concrete at the construction site or precast concrete, or glass fibre reinforced concrete, roofing tiles etc. For example, coloured precast concrete panels or other architectural concrete, sound barrier walls and similar concrete surfaces. CR protects against normal pollution/dirt, efflorescence, freezing damage, weathering, fading of the colour etc and is suitable for application inside and outside.

Advantages in Application:

• Enables a new dimension in surface protection of concrete. With the application of CR it is possible to protect the surfaces immediately during the production process with a high-quality protective-coating, without having to keep to the long drying times for the concrete.
• CR has been especially developed for the application on freshly demoulded concrete by the production of smooth fair-faced concrete walls made of precast-concrete elements or of insitu concrete).
• Can be sprayed directly onto these freshly cast surfaces.
• CR is invisible, therefore the application is very safe and easy, because if the product is not applied evenly, this does not directly lead to differences in the colour of the surface.
• Extra costs due to additional work-sequences due to the keeping of concrete drying times can now be avoided completely, so that the application of this protective coating is technically possible even in precast concrete factories or construction sites with busy production deadlines.
• CR protects effectively against primary and secondary efflorescence, normal pollution/dirt, weathering of the surface resp. fading of the colour by coloured concrete.
• High uv-resistance, the good breatheability and therefore also the associated high durability, as well as the environmentally friendly, safe application.

COLORTEC MAX Totally Invisible; Penetrating Invisible oil and dirt repellent protective agent for concrete surfaces - water-based

Product description:

COLORTEC MAX "CM"is a ready-to-use and invisible water-repellent protective coating for the all-round-protection of mineral surfaces, especially for the protection against common and aggressive dirt, for example oil- and food-spills, efflorescence, industrial emissions, etc. CM is invisible when dried.

Fields of application:

For all absorbent natural and cast stone surfaces, e.g. polished concrete tiles, terrazzo, exposed aggregate concrete, grid/sand-blasted and smooth concrete surfaces, natural stone, brick, etc. CM can be used for interior and exterior applications.

Advantages in application:

CM is solvent-free, but has a very high penetration depth and an extremely high alkali-resistance. CM is weather-resistant, capable of breathing, extremely dirt- and water-repellent, non-yellowing and increases the resistance to the wear of the freeze-thaw-succession. CM does not get sticky during the drying-time and does not create a glossy effect or change the natural colour of the surface. COLORTEC MAX is a water-based product and therefore can be applied immediately after production of concrete tiles/slabs or panels, for example after the polishing/sand-blasting of cast-stone-surfaces, because CM is water-vapour-permeable and is not adhesive to most materials during the drying process.

Warning:

CM is not suitable for sealed or non-absorbent surfaces. No application is recommended at temperatures below +5°C. Up to now, it has never been experienced, that the colour of the surface has been enhanced or brightened by COLORTEC MAX, although this can not be ruled out completely.

Consumption:

Depending on the absorbency of the surface from 200gr/m2.

COLORFRESH INTENSIVE Wet Look; Penetrating

Product Description:

• Finish - will intensify product's natural colour
• Suitable for concrete paving and concrete wall panels.
• Suitable for application onto smooth or structured concrete surfaces such as onto exposed aggregate, acid-washed, shot-blasted, polished concrete.
• Water and oil-repellent, Breathable.
• Concrete surface must be moist for application.
• Can be applied immediately after washing. If doing exposed aggregate, after acid-washing or after shot /sandblasting or after grinding /polishing.
• Hides colour tolerances.

Product Description:

ColorFIX NSL is a special colour mixture for application on concrete. The colour pigments penetrate the surface and create different shading and effects, depending on the absorbency and type of the surface it is applied to. These effects are similar to the texture of marble and natural stone surfaces and create very decorative surfaces.

ATTENTION: ColorFIX NSL is not a concrete paint or glaze with an even coverage. The pigments penetrate the surface and remain there permanently. The differing, uneven colouring by ColorFIX NSL is intentional, in order to achieve the marbling effects on the concrete with only one, simple application.
