We recently signed up with our bank to add the ability for our customers to pay by BPAY.

Each customer has a unqiue CRN (reference number) printed on their invoice and statement

Why BPAY?

BPAY is accessible anywhere and anytime you have access to your online, mobile or phone banking.
Consumers can pay bills within the security of online and mobile banking.

Complete control of the timing of bill payments and the account used for each payment.

This last benefit is a BIG DEAL for us and for nearly all our customers – the ability to choose accounts includes credit card accounts as well as normal transaction accounts. This means our customers can pay their invoices and statements by credit card when using BPAY, and when they do so there are no additional credit card surcharges.

How does it affect different customer types?

For COD or phone orders:

We can send you an order confirmation or invoice to pay by BPAY instead of taking a credit card over the phone, as this will mean you will avoid a credit card surcharge.

ie Surcharges are applicable when using an EFTPOS terminal for phone orders.

For account customers:

You can pay your statement by BPAY from their company account or the company/director’s credit card;
Encouraging customers to pay by BPAY from credit card accounts will help them earn more credit card points……which a lot of business owners love, AT NO EXTRA Cost!
